Critical Eligibility Criteria

Age Limitations:

Applicants must be **between 18 to 32 years old** as of 01 July 2026. Age limit extends up to 40 years for departmental candidates applying for Steno-Typist-cum-Computer Operator roles. Age affidavits are not accepted.

Quota & Departmental Rules:

Official government quota rules (Freedom Fighter, Ethnic Minorities, Physical Disabilities, and Third Gender) will be strictly followed during selection. Departmental candidates must apply with prior permission from authorities.

District Eligibility:

Eligible permanent citizens from all valid districts of Bangladesh are eligible to apply.

Post-Wise Details & Academic Qualifications

1. Librarian & Assistant Librarian — Grade 13 / 14 / 16

• Vacancies: 25 Posts (Librarian Gr-13: 16, Librarian Gr-14: 8, Assistant Librarian Gr-16: 1).
• Salary Scale: BDT 11,000 – 26,590 (Gr-13) / BDT 10,200 – 24,680 (Gr-14) / BDT 9,300 – 22,490 (Gr-16).
• Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with a Diploma in Library Science and proficiency in MS Office.

2. Steno-Typist, Accountant & Toolroom Attendant — Grade 14 / 15

• Vacancies: 29 Posts (Steno-Typist: 1, Accountant: 2, Toolroom Attendant: 26).
• Salary Scale: BDT 10,200 – 24,680 (Gr-14) / BDT 9,700 – 23,490 (Gr-15).
• Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree for Accountant/Steno-Typist with typing skills. HSC (Vocational), SSC (Vocational) with 2 years experience, or Science HSC with 1 year experience for Toolroom Attendant.

3. Office Assistant, Store Keeper, Typist & Driver — Grade 16

• Vacancies: 44 Posts (LDA Store Keeper: 4, Office Assistant Store Keeper: 7, Assistant Typist: 8, Office Assistant Typist: 2, Data Entry Operator: 11, Driver-cum-Mechanic: 1, LDA Cashier: 11).
• Salary Scale: BDT 9,300 – 22,490.
• Requirements: HSC pass with MS Office skills and minimum typing speed of 20 words/minute in Bangla & English. Driver post requires Class 8 pass with a valid driving license.

4. Office Sohayok, Security Guard & Cleaner — Grade 20

• Vacancies: 99 Posts (Office Sohayok / Security Guard: 17, Office Sohayok: 79, Office Sohayok / Cleaner: 3).
• Salary Scale: BDT 8,250 – 20,010.
• Requirements: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination pass from a recognized board.

• For Posts 01 to 13 (Grade 13 to 16): Exam Fee BDT 100 + Teletalk Charge BDT 12 = **Total BDT 112**.
• For Posts 14 to 16 (Grade 20) & Quota/Disability Candidates: Exam Fee BDT 50 + Teletalk Charge BDT 6 = **Total BDT 56**.

DTE Vocational Job Recruitments & Selection Rules

• Selection Steps: Candidates for post numbers 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 13 must pass Written, Practical, and Viva tests. Other post candidates must pass Written and Viva tests.
• Admit Card: Shortlisted applicants will be notified via SMS to download their color admit card from the website.
• No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending examinations.
